My point in all this is, If the Logic Pro 9 additional content was available as a download from Apple it was a very well kept secret, in which I've never heard of anyone else knowing about it. Making disk images of all the disks allowed me to mount them all at one time.

The problem apparently was during the install process the installer has to reference the install disk as part of installing the other disks, so the install would get so far and then fail because I couldn't swap out disks fast enough in order to keep the install going. After 3 days of trying everything I could think of or find online, I stumbled across a thread here on Logic Pro Help, in which Jordi Torres, suggested making disk images of each dvd and installing from from those, that was the ONLY way I was able to install everything. Here's the thing, at the time I was installing Logic Studio, installing all the additional content was next to impossible to do directly from the disks themselves. Just from reading the thread and the various replies, I'm puzzled as to how there would be anything to download from the Apple site other than 1, the additional content for Logic Pro X, or 2, the latest version of Logic Pro X.My copy of Logic Studio came with the Logic install dvd (white disk), 3 Audio Content dvds (black disks), 3 Jam Pack Content dvds (black disks), 1 Demo Content dvd (black disk), and 1 dvd labeled Additional Content (black disk).
